• 80% of your time should be spent on things that are going to impact the near term. That could be the next few weeks, the next month, or six weeks
• 15% of your time should be spent on activities that will impact the midterm - about three to six months from now
• 5% of your time should be spent doing things that will make you more successful six months from now
• Question from the crowd: What to say to managers who see being creative as a detriment
