After studying Finance at Southern Methodist University, Mark went to The University of Texas Law School before tackling multiple finance and general counsel role and after achieving his own childhood goal of being a successful businessman, he decided to help other entrepreneurs meet their goals Mark is a true believer that all of your skills will come together, Over the years, Mark embodied the notion of being an entrepreneur differently, and is a true believer that all skill will come together. He was even fortunate enough to share some boardroom bonding time with his Dad, who he credits for tutoring him in the world of business. In 1998, Mark sensed that technology was going to significantly transform business and the economy, so he started Aquila Capital Partners to support and invest in companies that leverage potentially transformative technologies.
